About Me - Sarah West
My passion for capturing meaningful moments began in 2004, when I became a mother to my eldest daughter. With her being born prematurely at just 26 weeks and weighing only 2lbs 2oz, every photograph I took became invaluable to me. It was during this time that I truly understood the importance of preserving the fleeting moments of childhood.
Though I’ve always had a love for photography, it was then that I decided to invest in my first DSLR camera and enroll in a photography course at night school to expand my skills, both in photography techniques and image editing.
In 2016, our family was blessed with another daughter (who made it to 39 weeks!) and it has been an incredible experience documenting her milestones—from her early baby days to her first birthday cake smash and everything in between. As every parent knows, the days of infancy pass all too quickly, and I seize every opportunity to capture these precious moments.
In 2018, our family grew once again with the arrival of our baby boy, completing our family. Another little model to photograph on my doorstep!
