Sarah West Photography – Website Terms & Conditions (UK)

​

These Terms & Conditions apply to all photography services booked with Sarah West Photography. By booking a session, you agree to the terms set out below.

​

Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable booking fee of £10 is required at the time of booking to secure your session.

• The remaining balance is due on or before the session date.

• Sessions are not guaranteed without full payment.

• Gift certificates are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are subject to expiry dates.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Booking fees are non-refundable.

• One date change is permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

• Where applicable, refunds will be processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 working days.

Photographer Availability & Liability

• If the Photographer cannot attend due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, the session will be rescheduled.

• If rescheduling is not possible, liability is limited to a full refund of payments made.

• In the event of image loss due to equipment failure or unforeseen circumstances, liability is limited to a refund of payments received

Session Conduct

• No personal cameras or recording devices are permitted during sessions.

• Clients are responsible for their own behaviour and that of any children present.

• Damage caused to equipment due to negligence will be chargeable.

Image Delivery & Editing

• Images will not be delivered until full payment is received.

• An online gallery will be provided within 2 weeks of the session.

• Image selection, editing style, and final image count are at the Photographer’s discretion.

• Additional retouching is available at extra cost.

Re-shoots

• Re-shoots are only offered where images are unusable due to technical failure.

• Client dissatisfaction due to wardrobe, location, or styling choices does not qualify for a re-shoot.

​

Copyright & Usage

• All images remain the copyright of Sarah West Photography under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

• Clients receive a licence for personal use only.

• Commercial use requires prior written permission.

• Print quality cannot be guaranteed when using third-party printers.

Marketing & Model Release (Opt-Out)

• Clients may opt out of marketing use via the booking questionnaire.

• If no opt-out is selected, images may be used for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes.

• Opting out does not affect copyright ownership.

​

Ordering & Storage

• Products must be selected within 4 weeks of gallery delivery.

• Galleries may be removed after this period.

• A £10 fee applies to re-opening galleries.

• Digital files are stored for 3 months and may be deleted thereafter.

​

Data Protection

• Personal data is processed in line with UK GDPR and the Photographer’s Privacy Policy.

​

Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

​
