About Your Newborn Photo Session

Newborn sessions are best scheduled when your baby is between 7 and 21 days old. During this time, babies are still very sleepy and naturally curl up, allowing us to capture those timeless, snuggly poses that define classic newborn photography.

All sessions take place in my home studio in Winkfield Row, Bracknell – a purpose-built garden room that’s fully insulated, warm, and cosy. It’s a calm, welcoming space designed specifically with newborns (and tired parents!) in mind.

These sessions are completely baby-led, meaning we take breaks whenever needed for feeding, changing, or comforting your little one. Extra time is always built in to ensure a relaxed and stress-free experience for everyone.

My goal is to create a safe, soothing environment where your baby is gently posed and beautifully photographed – all while you sit back, relax, and enjoy this special moment.

Can I Still Book if My Baby Is Over 2 Weeks Old?

Absolutely – yes! While the ideal age for those classic, sleepy newborn poses is between 7 and 21 days old, I believe every stage of your newborn’s early days is precious and worth capturing. Whether your baby is two weeks, three weeks, or older, I’ll tailor the session to suit their needs and comfort.

What to Expect

Your session will take place in my purpose-built garden studio in Winkfield Row, Bracknell. It’s a warm, cosy, fully insulated space designed specifically for newborn photography – calm, peaceful, and baby-friendly.

Each session is entirely baby-led, meaning we take our time, working around your baby’s feeding, changing, and comforting needs. Sessions typically last 1–2 hours, allowing plenty of time for cuddles, feeds, and gentle transitions between setups.

I’ll capture a variety of poses using a range of professional props and setups, including:

Posing table and beanbag
Soft wraps and blankets
Prop beds and bowls
Coordinated backdrops and newborn outfits

If you have a special blanket or teddy, feel free to bring it along – I’d love to include any meaningful items in your session.

We also take this opportunity to capture family portraits with parents and siblings – beautiful keepsakes of this special time.

How to Book

Booking is simple:

I reserve a date around a week after your due date.
Once baby arrives and you're home and settled, just get in touch to confirm or adjust your session date.
Sessions are by appointment only to ensure a calm, private experience.

Investment

Newborn Photography Session – £299

What’s included:

A 1–2 hour personalised session, including use of props and outfits
A private, password-protected online gallery to view your professionally edited images
Ten high-resolution digital downloads of your choice

A £10 deposit is required at booking to secure your date. This will be deducted from your total session cost, with the remaining balance due on the day of your session.

My pricing is always transparent, with no hidden costs.

After Your Photo Session

Following your session, you can expect your professionally edited images to be ready within 4 weeks.

You’ll receive an email with a link to your private, password-protected online gallery, where you can:

View all your beautifully edited images
Select and download the digital images included in your session package
Choose to purchase additional digital images or products, if you wish

All pricing for additional digital images and printed products is listed clearly below, so you can make your selections with confidence. There’s no pressure to purchase anything extra – just the option to select any favourites beyond your included package.
